Katherine Hooker, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s favourite London-based designer, has signed an agreement with Johnstons of Elgin, the only mill in Scotland that processes raw cashmere fibre to turn it into finished apparel.
According to the deal, the historic Johnstons of Elgin, which dates back to 1797, will provide woven cashmere and merino for an exclusive collection of Katherine Hooker made-to-order jackets and coats. With this collection, the designer’s label will take a leap in terms of luxury items.
