Menswear apparel brand Turtle is planning to get a portion of its requirements of trousers made in Bangladesh.
The company is placing the orders to find out if it can get large quantity of apparel pieces from Bangladesh that meet its quality standards. It is expecting the first consignment to arrive in the next two months.
Turtle has, in the mean time, increased the capacity to 2.5 million pieces of shirts and trousers per annum from the earlier 1.6 million pieces at its Howrah manufacturing unit.
