Recalls: Target, Walmart, Chanel, Ross, Dollar Tree, Amazon, Lowe’s, Neiman Marcus, Toys”R”Us

Ross Stores is recalling about 1,200 Acacia chairs. The chair can collapse when weight is placed on it. Ross has received five reports of the chair collapsing and four minor injuries were reported, according to CPSc. The chairs sold at Ross Stores nationwide between March 2011 and May 2011 for about $40.
Target is recalling about 13,000 Circo children’s task lamps. “Lamps can overheat, causing the adhesive inside the lamp socket to melt and migrate into the bulb area of the socket,” according to CPSC. “The cooled glue can adhere to the light bulb base and make the bulb difficult to remove which can result in a broken light bulb… Melted flammable glue that migrates onto the electrical components of the lamp poses a risk of fire.” The lamps sold at Target stores nationwide and Target.com from January 2011 to April 2011 for about $13.
