Here’s What Bjork Wore to the Webby Awards

Last night, the Webby Awards took place here in NYC. We didn’t win anything, though we were selected as an Official Honoree in the fashion category (thanks, Webbys!). Fashion winners included SHOWStudio for the official Webby and, for the second year in a row, Vogue.com got the People’s Voice award. While sadly, we were not treated to a second witty five-word acceptance speech by Anna Wintour this year (the EIC was a no-show), Bjork was there. So that’s guaranteed entertainment.

The Icelandic musician was on hand to accept the Artist of the Year award for Biophilia, the first ever interactive “app album,” a collaboration with Apple. She went for a dramatic hair look, which might be hair, might be rainbow-dyed yarn, so she kept it simple from the neck down with a dress from Iris Van Herpen’s fall 2011 couture collection, which actually looks a bit like the artwork from her “album.”

Here acceptance speech: “A.E.I.O.U.” And sometimes, why?
